Giving preference to the tape length over the title sequence
(Time edit recording)
When the tape recording time is specified, recording is executed w ith changing the title sequence so that no title w ill be
interrupted w hen the tape direction is changed at the end of one side.
When equalizer, SRS 3D or another effect is applied
to the sound, the sound w ith the applied effect can
be recorded.
Recording preparations are required. ¤

Press so that the "PGM " indicator goes off.

Light the "EDIT" indicator.

Enter the disc and tape conditions.
2 Press the EDIT key.

Start edit recording.

Depending on the combination of conditions from CD contents (number of titles and length of the titles) and tape recording time, interruption
of a title may not be avoidable. In such a case, the respective title w ill not be recorded.

1 Enter the disc No. (DP-M H5 only)

Go to step 2 w ithin

For the reverse mode, select " " " ," [ "(tw o-w ay recording).
÷ When pressing the EDIT key, " SPACE" indicator also lights up w ith
" EDIT" indicator. To cancel the auto-space function, press the SPACE
key.
For XD-8550
For XD-6000
÷ The recording time is 99 minutes maximum.
÷ Up to 32 tracks can be edited.
÷ CD tracks w ill be edited automatically onto tape sides A and B. After
editing, the "EDIT" indicator stops blinking and starts to light steadily.
Press the numeric keys as show n below .
30-minute tape : 000)
46-minute tape : 00006
46-, 54-, 60- or 90-minute tapes can be selected simply by pressing the
TIM E key for the required number of times. (The recording time can be
adjusted in 1-minute steps w ith the 4 and ¢ keys.)
After entry, press the EDIT key then proceed to step 4.
During recording: X-H5
÷ The tape and CD stop automatically w hen recording has completed.
Character information indicators cannot be displayed w hile
the spectrum analyzer display is used. Sw itch to the dual
display or character display mode to see the information.
