  • Page 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Note: The vanes in front of the air cooler need to be in the open position before switching the unit on. Operating modes 1. MODE: When the appliance is on, press the “MODE” button until the corresponding icon lights up. The mode is cycled as below.

    Do not overfill the reservoir of the water tank - water could spill over the sides of the tank and into the cooler’s operating mechanisms. Using the ice boxes • Ensure that the ice boxes are filled with water, but no more than two-thirds full.
  • Page 9 Cleaning and emptying the water tank • Disconnect the power supply. • Rotate the small knob on the back panel upward to partially release the water tank (DO NOT REMOVE IT COMPLETELY). • Before the water tank can be completely removed from the air cooler, the locking mechanism that is holding the pump in place needs to be released so the pump can be detached.

    • Once the pump is detached and the water tank released, the water tank can be emptied and cleaned. • The tank can be washed and with dishwashing liquid but must be thoroughly rinsed and dried thereafter. Alternatively, a damp cloth can be used to remove dirt and clean the tank.
