Pressure Controlled Clutch
This tool is equipped with a clutch that,
when combined with the depth control,
stops the screw at the desired depth
and prevents the screw head from
becoming stripped or breaking the bit
tip (1).
The clutch becomes engaged and begins
driving the screw into the work piece
when pressure is placed on the bit tip
(1). The clutch becomes disengaged and
stops driving the screw when the depth
control contacts the work piece and
releases the pressure on the bit tip.
Rotational Direction Switch
The location of the rotational direction
switch (5) is shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 9.
This control can be accessed on either
side of the tool to change the direction
of rotation of the bit (1).
LOCK OUT position:
Move the rotational direction switch
(5) to the center position to prevent
the trigger (7) from turning the tool
ON (Fig. 9). With the rotational
direction switch in the center
position, the trigger cannot be
squeezed.
Forward clockwise rotation:
Move the rotational direction switch
(5) to the forward position (Fig 10).
Reverse counterclockwise rotation:
Move the rotational direction switch
(5) to the reverse position (Fig. 11).
CAUTION
until the tool comes to a complete
stop. Shifting during rotation of the
chuck can cause damage to the tool.
