2.1. Connecting the Power Supply Connect the power supply cord to the power supply brick. Connect the power supply to the LaCie Hard Disk and to a grounded wall outlet or surge protector. Turn on the drive using the power switch on the back. -

Connect one end of the interface cable to your computer. Connect connect the other end of the interface cable to the matching port on the LaCie hard disk. After a few seconds, the hard disk will mount on your com- puter and appear in My Computer (Windows users) or on your desktop (Mac users). -
