When the temperature of the high
voltage battery is below 5 °C, the
charging process could take up to
6 hours.
Caution
Charging is not possible if the
temperature of the high voltage
battery is below -5 °C.
The charge level of the high voltage
battery and the remaining driving
range will be displayed in the Driver
Information Centre.
Before charging, park the vehicle as
close as possible to a domestic
electrical outlet, apply the parking
brake and switch off the engine.
Caution
Do not use an extension cable, a
multi-plug connector, a conversion
adaptor or a damaged power
outlet.
The charging cable is permanently
attached to the vehicle. It is stored
inside the passenger door frame.
Note
Depending on country version the
electric plug differs.
To charge the high voltage battery,
unfurl the charging cable fully.
