From the Main Menu, select System Tools, then Terminal.

Enter the command "/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p [printer name] -E -v [device] -m
ppd".
Example
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p km2530dl -E -v socket://192.168.1.20 -m
