General picture taking—a balance of image quality and ease of use.
Reducing blur caused by camera shake or subject motion.
Full-frame portraits of people. Subject is sharp; background is
indistinct.
Reduces red eye of people in night scenes or low-light conditions.
Subjects that are in motion. Shutter speed is fast. The camera
pre-settings are Multi-Pattern Exposure Metering, Multi-Zone Focus.
Far-away scenes. The camera uses infinity auto-focus. Auto-focus
framing marks are not available in Landscape.
Close range. Use available light instead of flash if possible. The camera
automatically sets the focus distance depending on the zoom position.
