Humidity, suspended particles, and oil can impair the instrument’s operation temporarily or permanently if internal parts wear out. Impurities in the supply air can partially or completely damage the positioner’s internal components.

Two grounding points are provided, one internal and one external. If the cable used is shielded, it is recommended that the shield be grounded at one end only.
