The ePhone8 camera is a 2 Mega Pixel 1080p HD USB video camera that has an adjustable viewing angle (ePhone8 video has a maximum VGA resolution of 640x480 at 30fps). The camera does not require a software driver to function and draws power from the ePhone8 USB port.
• Plug other end of USB cable into USB port on back of ePhone8. Adjust the camera gripper and place camera either on top of the ePhone8 or on the desk as shown in • image below.
At power up, red is displayed briefly first, then orange. Video call The ePhone8 can be set up to automatically use video calling. From the ePhone8 GUI go to Phone Settings > Features. Set Default Answer Mode and Default Dial Mode to Video.
Taking photos • On the ePhone8 Apps page, tap the Camera app icon to launch the camera app. Once the app is launched, swipe from left to right with your finger to show the Camera and Video icons on the left of the screen as shown below.
Video recording • On the ePhone8 Apps page, tap Camera app icon . Once the app is launched, swipe from left to right with your finger to show the Camera and Video icons on the left of the screen as shown below.
