    1 Introduction Overview This guide describes how to install and configure an Efficia Rack. This rack shall be referred to as the “Efficia rack” throughout this guide. The Efficia rack expands the capabilities of physiological parameters measurement of the Efficia CM120 and CM150 patient monitors (with software version B.XX or newer).

    Installing the Optional Bottom Support with the Universal Clamp The optional bottom support can be installed on the Efficia rack to serve as an interface for the connection of the support accessories. To install the optional bottom support with the universal clamp: Step First you need to assemble the support accessory into the bottom support.

    Returning the Rack For Service To return the rack for service, call the Philips Customer Care Solutions Center or your local Philips representative for a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number. Have all equipment serial numbers available when calling. Mark the shipping carton and any shipping documents with the RMA number.

    - including all Instructions for Use - are passed on to the new user. A new user should be made aware of the support services that Philips Customer Care Solutions Center provides for installing, commissioning and maintaining the equipment or system, and for the comprehensive training of operators.
  • Page 27 Previous users who are not able or prepared to do this should inform the Philips Customer Care Solutions Center about the new user, so that Philips Customer Care Solutions Center can provide the new user with safety-related information.
