Serial Devices

Serial devices include: mouse, serial printer, bar code reader,
or measuring device.
Read the manual provided with the serial device and make
the necessary operating environment settings so that the
device will be recognized.

Serial Port Setting

The settings for the pen computer's serial port depend on
the settings made by the Setup utility. When connecting a
serial mouse to the serial port, set "COM Port" to "COM1"
in the "Advanced" menu of the Setup utility.
