Registering Internet of Things (IoT) devices and smart home appliances

Dashboard

On the dashboard, you can access various options for the SmartThings app.

On the SmartThings home screen, tap

• : Configure the SmartThings app settings.

• Y our Samsung account: View your Samsung account information.

• L ocation card: Select a location or add a new location.

• R ooms: View and configure the selected location's rooms.

• D evices: View and configure the selected location's devices.

• S cenes: View and configure the selected location's scenes.

• A utomations: View and configure the selected location's automations.

• M embers: View the selected location's members. You can also invite new members.

• H istory: View the selected location's notifications and device, automation, and scene

activities.

• N earby devices: Connect with nearby devices, such as Bluetooth headsets or wearable

devices.

• N otices: View the notices from the SmartThings service.

• H ow to use: Learn how to use the SmartThings app.

For instructions on how to register devices, refer to the other devices' user manuals.

• T o view the supported devices, on the SmartThings home screen, tap

to use → Supported devices.

• C onnected devices' own errors or defects are not covered by the Samsung

warranty. When errors or defects occur on the connected devices, contact the

device's manufacturer.
