Proper installation is critical to the performance of your handrims.
Failure to follow these instructions will void the product warranty.
Install Your
Natural-Fit Handrims
CAUTION:
Hardware Needed:
• Screws (use existing screws for X-Core wheels)
• Spacers
Tool Needed:
• Phillips head screwdriver
Remove the Old Handrim
• Using a phillips screwdriver, disassemble and remove the screws
that mount the handrim to the wheel.
Set-up the Natural-Fit Assembly
1. Place the new oval component on a fl at surface with the rivet-nuts
(threaded holes) facing up.
2. Place the new concave shaped thumb guard on top of the oval com-
ponent (the wider edge faces up to make contact with your wheel).
NOTE: IF YOUR MAG WHEEL HAS STAND-OFFS, BE CAREFUL
WHEN PLACING THE THUMB GUARD AROUND THE STAND-
OFFS. TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR THUMB GUARD AND TO
ALLOW IT TO FIT PROPERLY, YOU MAY NEED TO BEND THE
STAND-OFFS IN OR REMOVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF PLASTIC
FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE STAND-OFF OF YOUR WHEEL.
3. Place your wheel (recessed hole for quick release facing down)
on top of the thumb guard and oval component. Make sure the
mounting holes on the wheel match up with the rivet-nut holes for
the oval component.
