Use the [1
To play only one channel by itself, hold down the appropriate button for the channel to set the
channel to Solo. To cancel Solo, simply press the appropriate channel button again.
To change the Voice for each channel
Press one of the [1
Selection display (page 39), and then select the desired Voice.
NOTE
You can save the settings made here to Registration Memory (page 81).

Press the [EXIT] button to close the Channel On/Off (Style) display.
Playing in Unison or Adding Accents to Style Playback (Unison & Accent)
The powerful Unison & Accent function gives you expressive and nuanced control over Style playback,
letting you create various musical variations in the accompaniment. With the Unison function turned on,
you can play a melody and have it reproduced in unison (i.e., the same melody is played by multiple
instruments) or tutti (i.e., all parts are played at the same time)—expressively enhancing your performance
and letting you create dynamic phrases. With the Accent function turned on, accents are automatically
generated by adding notes to Style playback according to your playing strength (or accents you play). This
allows you to temporary change or interrupt the regular rhythm patterns. For the Styles compatible with
the Unison & Accent function, "Unison" is indicated above the Style name on the Style Selection display.
Using the Unison Function

Select a compatible Style which has a "Unison" indication above the Style name on
the Style Selection display.
