Resetting the IP Camera
You reset the IP camera by pressing the Reset button on the rear of the device (see ). There are various
reset types, as described in

disconnect it from the camera

Procedure
Press and immediately release
the Reset button.
Press and hold the Reset button
for at least 1 second but no more
than 9 seconds.
Press and hold the button for at
least 10 seconds.

Remarks
This action is equivalent to
powering the IP camera down
and then powering it up. Settings
that are configured for the IP
camera are retained.
If DHCP is enabled in your
network, the IP camera obtains
an IP address from the DHCP
server. Otherwise, after 90
seconds, the IP camera IP
address resets to the default
address of 192.168.0.100. All
other configuration settings are
retained.
Sets all IP camera options to
their default values. After you
perform this procedure, follow
the steps in the
"Performing the
Initial Setup of the IP Camera"
section on page
2-4.
