Installing the Battery Pack
The following figure shows how to install the battery pack.

Charging the Battery

To charge the battery, place the battery pack inside the battery
compartment and plug the AC adapter into the notebook and an electrical
outlet.
Charging Modes
The adapter has three charging modes:
Power
Pull on the loop connected to the
battery pack and remove the battery
pack.
Nickel-Metal Hydride
Insert the battery pack into the battery
compartment. Then slide in the battery
compartment cover.
