SMS

You can send/receive text message to/from
mobile phone number as a recipient.
* For details of available number of characters,
etc, refer to "Short Message Service (SMS)"
on mobile operator Website.
Sending SMS
From the Home screen, tap "Apps"

• The "Messaging" screen is displayed.

Tap "To" box to enter a recipient's

phone number
• Tap to display phonebook and select a
recipient.
Enter a message in "Enter message"

• Default message application can be
changed to Hangouts. → P179
• While entering a message, tap
"Insert smiley" to inset a smiley.
• You can also send/receive text
messages to/from customers using
overseas network operators. For available
countries/overseas network operators,
see mobile operator Website.
• To send SMS to users of overseas
network operators, enter "+" u "Country
code" u "Recipient's mobile phone
number". If the mobile phone number
begins with "0", enter the number
excluding the first "0". You can also send
an SMS by entering "010", "Country code"
and "the recipient mobile phone number".
Receiving/Viewing SMS
From the Home screen, tap "Apps"

u "Messaging"
• The thread (recipient who send or receive
messages) list is displayed on the
"Messaging" screen.
Tap a thread

• A message appears.
