Remove Front-Panel Protective Film In order to protect the lens covering the front panel of your new DVD 25, it is shipped from the factory cov- ered by a protective plastic film. Before using the unit, remove this film by grabbing one corner and gently peeling back the plastic sheet.
DVD. FEATURES & DVD COMPATIBILITY Compatible With CD as Well as DVD • The DVD 25 will play any conventional Audio CD and most recordable (CD-R) or erasable (CD-RW) CDs, bearing the logos shown here, MP3 or any VCD or DVD with the Region Code 1.
The program material on a DVD may be recorded in either format and, in addition, you may configure the DVD 25 to play back in either format, depending on the features recorded on a disc. Chapter: DVD programs are divided into chapters and titles.
Power On/Off (Standby): Press the Button once to turn the DVD 25 on. Press it again to put the unit in the Standby mode. Note that in order for this switch to operate, the Main Power Switch must be pressed in so that it is in the ON position.
NOTE: The indicators will also display text messages about the DVD 25’s status, including Reading when a disc is loading, and Disc Error when a disc not compatible with the DVD 25 is put into the Play position.
