Fault Analysis
Not refrigerating,
not so cold,
too cold
The refrigerator
makes abnormal
noise
18_Fault Analysis
The refrigerator does not
work
The food in the fridge
compartment is frozen
The refrigerator is running
for a long time
The freezer compartment
cannot freeze sufficiently
The refrigerator is placed
unevenly
Sound of air flow or running
water
Slight "buzzing"
Slight "whirring"
- The plug is not well connected.
- The power is not connected.
- Power is off when the refrigerator is
running and power is on again less than
7 minutes later.
- The temperature is set too low.
- The food stored contact the cold source
at the rear wall.
- The refrigerator is in the quick refrigerating
state.
- Ambient temperature in summer is high.
- The door is opened frequently.
- The food are accumulated near the
temperature sensor.
- The ventilation around the refrigerator is
poor.
- The refrigerator door is not closed
properly.
- The sealing is not tight due to damaged
or deformed door sealing strip.
- Heat source exists beside the
refrigerator or the refrigerator is exposed
to direct sunlight.
- The ventilation around the refrigerator is
poor.
- If the refrigerator is placed unevenly
slightly, the operating sound will be
louder. Rotate the adjusting leg under
the refrigerator to adjust the level.
- The refrigerator temperature decreases
quickly via the flowing of refrigerant
in the pipe. The refrigerant includes
gaseous state and liquid state, which
will produce slight noise when flowing.
- The compressor is working with the
noise a bit higher on startup. The noise
of efficient refrigerator will be higher due
to strong working of compressor.
- A fan is installed in the refrigerator to
promote air circulation. When the fan
runs, sound of air flowing and motor
rotation will be caused.
