Digital Input and Digital Output connector
Used to connect an external modem, a serial printer, or other devices that use a serial connector. For more
information about commands, see "Use the I/O tool guide (for ThinkEdge SE70)" on page 18.
• Digital Input voltage:
– Dry Contact:
– Logic 1: Close to ground
– Logic 0: Open
– Wet Contact:
– Logic 1: 10 to 50 V DC
– Logic 0: 0 to 3 V DC
• Output Voltage Range: 3.5 V to 30 V
• Normal Output Current: 500 mA / Channel
Note: Connections made to this connector must use the cable (26 AWG-18 AWG / 105°C).

Reset hole
Used to reset your computer if the computer stops responding and you cannot turn it off by pressing the
power button.
Reset hole and power button operations
Use the following button combinations to reset the device. A short press is less than 5 seconds. A long press
is more than 5 seconds. For operations that require multiple buttons, press and hold both buttons
simultaneously.
