Overheating protection
If there is not enough water in the grill
trough, overheating protection will
switch off the heater element automati-
cally.
Add some cold water.
Once the heater element has cooled
down sufficiently, it will switch on again
automatically.

Safety shut-off
Your grill has a safety shut-off feature.
This will switch off the heater element
automatically if the grill is switched on
when the heater element has been
raised (e.g., for cleaning).
