General information General information Reading and storing the user manual This user manual is part of the Steel Frame Pool (referred to below only as the “pool”). It contains important information about initial use and handling. Before using the pool, read the user manual carefully. This applies in particular to the safety information.

General information Do not jump into the pool from the ground. Do not throw anyone into the pool. Do not jump into the pool from attachments or other objects. Do not lie face down on floating objects. Remove ladders when not in use. Keep hair and hands away from the pump, the suction openings and the hoses.
Safety Safety Explanation of notes The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual. This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with moderate degree of risk which may lead to WARNING! death or severe injury if not avoided. This signal word warns against potential NOTICE! damages to property.

Safety Safety of non-swimmers Continuous, active and attentive supervision of inexperienced swimmers and non-swimmers by a competent adult is essential at all times (remembering that the risk of drowning is greatest among children under the age of six). − Identify a competent adult who will supervise the pool whenever it is in use.
Page 12
Safety − Keep the pool clean and tidy. The floor of the pool must always be visible from outside. − Check pins, bolts and screws for rust at regular intervals and check for splinters and sharp edges to avoid injury (especially on accessible surfaces).
Page 13
Safety − Never swim alone and never allow anyone else to do so. − Do not use the pool if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. This can impair your capacity to use the pool safely. −...
Page 14
Safety − Empty the pool completely if you do not plan to use it over a lengthy period and store the pool safely so that no rain water or water from other sources can collect in it. Ensure that it cannot be blown away by strong gusts of wind.
Page 15
Safety − Do not bury the power cable. The power cable must be positioned in such a way that it cannot be damaged by lawn mowers, hedge cutters, etc. − The connection cable on the pump cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the pump or transformer must be disposed of.
Checking the pool and the package contents Checking the pool and the package contents NOTICE! Risk of damage! If you are not cautious when opening the packaging, you may damage the pool. − Be very careful when opening. 1. Take the pool out of the packaging. 2.
Assembly • The subsurface must be flat and even. The pool must not stand on a slope or an inclined subsurface. • The subsurface must be sufficiently stable to withstand the weight of a full pool. The pool must not be positioned on muddy, sandy or loose ground. •...
Assembly They must always work in the same direction. 1. Place the crosspieces through the loop openings in the pool liner 2. Attach the T-connector to the end of the crosspieces. Repeat this step until all crosspieces are connected to each other. The last connection may be difficult to complete.
Assembly − In order to prevent the pump from falling over accidentally, fit it to a cement or wooden base (see Fig. D). The subsurface must have a load-bearing capacity of more than 18 kg. The pump is supplied with the air release valve open.
Assembly 4. Place the holder over the edge of the pool close to the right hose connection 5. Attach the holder to the crosspiece by tightening the two wingnuts (see Fig. G, step 4). 6. Unscrew the filter sieve from the filter connection (right hose connection) (see Fig.
Assembly 3. Fill the pool with water until it reaches just below the inner seam. Emptying the pool NOTICE! Risk of damage! If the water level is too high, it can damage the pool. − If the water level is higher than the maximum mark, drain some water off as quickly as possible to avoid damage from overfilling the pool.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Improper use of the pool, the pump or the skimmer can cause in- jury. − Read the safety instructions at the start of the user manual. NOTICE! Risk of damage! Allowing the pump to run dry can cause overheating and damage to the pump.
3. As soon as water comes out of the air release valve, carefully close the air release valve. Do not screw it too tight. It is essential to vent the pump system and allow the air to escape as the pump housing fills with water.
Disassembling the pool for long-term storage After use, you can empty the pool and store it in a safe place. If the temperatures in winter fall below 5 °C, you must drain the pool, disassemble it and store it properly to prevent ice damage to the pool and its components. Ice dam- age can make the pool liner unusable and, in the worst case, cause it to tear.
Water maintenance and chemicals 3. Let the water drain out of the pump housing. 4. Allow all of the individual parts of the pump, the skimmer and all hoses to dry thoroughly in the air. 5. Clean the filter cartridge (see the section ‘Cleaning and replacing the filter cartridge’).
Page 26
Water maintenance and chemicals − Please note that chemically treated water that sprays out when, for example, children are playing, can destroy the lawn or plants in the vicinity of the pool, and grass under the pool liner may be damaged. −...
Cleaning and maintenance • The filter service life depends on the weather, the pool size and how the pool is used. Experiment with different intervals between filter changes to produce clean, clear water. • The European standard EN16713-3 provides additional information about pool water quality and water treatment.
Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning the pool and pump 1. Before cleaning, pull the mains plug of the transformer out of the socket. 2. Wipe the pool, the pump and the skimmer with a damp cloth and a suitable cleaning agent. 3.
Storage The pump will fill with water again and can be switched on. 13. Check the connections regularly to ensure that they are not blocked and good fil- tration is possible. All of the filter cartridges used must be disposed of in accordance with the applica- ble local regulations and laws.
