Pump Belt Installation
1. Follow steps 1-4 of Pump Belt Removal.
2. Place the belt over the Cooling Fans and into the
pulley Groove.
3. Place the belt on the Idler pulleys and pull the belt
back to the clutch.
4. Place the belt on the upper pulley above the Clutch.
5. Check to be sure the belt is installed in all the pulley
grooves and is not twisted.
6. Tighten the belt using the Tensioner Adjusting Nuts
on the Tensioner Rod. The Tensioner Rod end
should be 2-7/8" to 3-1/4" from the frame obtain the
proper Belt tension. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
7. When desired tightness is achieved lock the Ten-
sioner Rod position by tightening the Tensioner Ad-
justing Nuts.
8. Place the Mower Deck Belt back on the Clutch.
9. IMPORTANT! Re-Install the Clutch Stop.
Damage to the Clutch will result if Zero Turn
Mower is engaged without Clutch Stop Installed.
10. Adjust the Mower Deck Tension (See Adjusting
Mower Deck Belt).
11. Re-install the foot plate.

MAINTENANCE
Cutting Blade Maintenance
Best mowing results are achieved when blades are sharp
and not damaged.
Replace blades that become bent or cracked while mow-
ing.
FOR SERVICE OR MAINTENANCE, TO AVOID DEATH
OR SERIOUS INJURY, STOP ENGINE, SET PARKING
BRAKE,
MOWER BEFORE WORKING UNDERNEATH.

1. Lift deck and secure in raised position.
2. Remove Blade Bolt, Cup Washer, Blade and
Blade Washer from shaft.
Inspect Blades
Blades should be discarded when worn ex-
cessively.
