Secado en Rejilla(Rack Dry) (On
Some Models)
Use the Secado en Rejilla(Rack Dry) function with
items, such as wool swearters, silk items, and lingerie,
that should be dried flat. Secado en Rejilla(Rack
Dry) can also be used with items that should not be
tumbled dry, such as gym shoes or stuffed animals.
NOTE
• NEVER tumble dry a load of clothing with the rack
installed.
• When the rack is installed, the drum will rotate as
usual, but the rack will not move. Make sure all
articles to be dried remain completely on the rack
and cannot fall off or be pulled off by the turning
drum. Be sure to remove the rack after use.
Using the Secado en Rejilla(Rack Dry) Cycle

With the dryer door open, slide the rack into the
dryer drum.

Make sure it is seated evenly on the edge of the
inner door rim and resting flat on the inside of
the dryer.

Place wet items on the rack. Allow space around
the items for air to circulate.

Close the door and select Secado en
Rejilla(Rack Dry).

Press Temp. to select a temperature option. If no
temperature is selected, Secado en Rejilla(Rack
Dry) defaults to no heat.
Special Functions
Some cycle option buttons also activate secondary
functions. These special functions are marked with an
asterisk (*). Press and hold the option button marked
with the special function to activate it.
* Bloqueo de Panel(Control Lock)
Use this option to prevent unwanted use of the dryer
or to keep cycle settings from being changed while
the dryer is operating.
Press and hold the button marked Anti
Arrugas(Wrinkle Care) for 3 seconds to activate
or deactivate the Bloqueo de Panel(Control Lock)
function. The Bloqueo de Panel(Control Lock) icon
will be shown in the display, and all controls will be
disabled except the Encendido/Apagado (Power)
button.
NOTE
Once set, Bloqueo de Panel(Control Lock) remains
active until it is manually deactivated. Bloqueo de
Panel(Control Lock) must be turned off to run another
cycle. To deactivate Bloqueo de Panel(Control Lock),
press and hold the Anti Arrugas(Wrinkle Care) button
for 3 seconds.
* Apag./Enc. Predet.(Default On/Off)
This option allows the Ahorro de Energía(Energy
Saver) settings to be changed. To run a Normal cycle
without the Ahorro de Energía(Energy Saver) option,
press and hold the Ahorro de Energía(Energy
Saver) button for three seconds. Encendido(On) or
Apagado(Off) appears in the display.
Ciclo Personalizado(Custom PGM)
Save special combinations of settings that are used
frequently as a custom program.
Saving a Custom Program

Turn on the dryer and select the desired settings
using the cycle selector knob and cycle modifier
or option buttons.

Press and hold the Ciclo Personalizado(Custom
PGM) button for three seconds.
NOTE
• Only one custom program can be saved
at a time. Pressing and holding the Ciclo
Personalizado(Custom PGM) button will
overwrite any previously saved custom program.
Recalling a Custom Program

Turn on the dryer and press the Ciclo
Personalizado (Custom PGM) button.

Press the Inicio/Pausa(Start/Pause) button to
start the cycle.
