Changing the Text Greeting
A text greeting is displayed on your phone's screen in standby
mode. Choose the phone's default greeting ("Sprint"), or enter
your own custom greeting.
1.
Press
Foreground > Greeting.
2.
Select Default or Custom.
If you select Custom, enter a custom greeting and
press
Changing the BacklightTime Length
Select how long the display screen and keypad remain backlit
after any keypress is made.
To change the Backlight setting:
1.
Press
Outer Screen.
2.
Select Backlight and press
3.
Select Dim Only, Always On, or a preset length of time
and press
To change the Keypad Light setting:
1.
Press
2.
Select Always Off or a preset length of time and press
Note
Long backlight settings reduce the battery's talk and standby
times .
