Twin Needle Sewing

Turn off the machine before changing the needle or
threading the machine.

Make sure to press the twin needle button before sewing
with twin needle.

Do not use twin needles other than one included in the
standard accessories, otherwise the needle may hit the
needle plate, foot or hook and break.
Machine Setting

NOTES:
Use #60 or finer threads.
Test the stitches before you begin to sew.

Threading the machine for twin needle

Raise the needle to the highest position and raise the
presser foot.
Attach the extra spool pin and place a spool of thread on
the extra spool pin (refer to page 13).

Draw both threads from the spools and pass them
through the points from z to m.
Make sure that the two strands of thread do not get
tangled.
Pass one of the threads through the needle bar thread
guide on the left, and the other on the right.
Thread the needles from the front to back by hand.
NOTES:
Threading of points z to b is the same as for single
needle.

The needle threader cannot be used for the twin needle.
