Replacing the battery pack (Optional)

To replace the battery pack, perform the following:
1 Turn off the computer. Disconnect the AC power adapter and all cables
from the computer.
2 Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
3 Holding the battery latch‐spring in the unlocked position a, remove the
battery pack in the direction shown by the arrow b.
4 Gently pull the battery pack out from its cavity.
5 Insert a new battery pack.
6 Turn the computer over again.
7 Connect the AC power adapter and the cables to the computer.
