    2. Place Kettle on Base making sure it is correctly engaged on its Base. 3. Plug Power Base cord into a 120V AC wall outlet. NOTE: Never plug Power Base with empty Kettle into the electrical outlet. 4. Depress the On/Off Switch to the ‘On’ position. The Indicator Light will illuminate to indicate that the Kettle is in the boil cycle.

    3. Under normal use, a deposit of scale may form on the inside of the Kettle and cause some discolouration. Scale, which has accumulated inside the Kettle, can be removed by boiling equal parts of white vinegar and water (500 ml / 2 cups of each is recommended). Once the water has boiled, allow mixture to stand several hours or overnight.
