Confirming that the Power Is On The POWER lamp is lit green when the machine is turned on. Even if the LCD is off, if the POWER lamp is lit, the machine is on. Note It may take a while for the machine to start printing immediately after you turn on the machine. The LCD will turn off if the machine is not operated for about 5 minutes. -

If you cut plain paper into small size such as 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) or 5" x 7" (13 x 18 cm) to perform trial print, it can cause paper jams. Note We recommend Canon genuine photo paper for printing photos. For details on the Canon genuine paper, see Media Types You Can Use. - Page 38 Slide the right paper guide to align the paper guides with both sides of the paper stack. Do not slide the paper guides too hard against the paper. The paper may not be fed properly. Important Always load paper in the portrait orientation (B). Loading paper in the landscape orientation can cause paper jams.

Loading Envelopes You can load European DL and US #10 envelopes. The address is automatically rotated and printed according to the envelope's direction by specifying with the printer driver properly. Important Printing of envelopes from the operation panel is not supported.
