Water is produced from the outdoor unit
* • During heating operation, water may be produced from the
outdoor unit due to the automatic defrosting operation.
The filter indicator blinks
• Clean the filter. Afterwards, turn the Filter indicator off.

Airflow is stopped and

• Airflow is stopped due to the automatic defrosting, oil
recovery, or mode mismatch.

[Weekly timer setting] is different from what you
registered
• If more than 2 timer patterns per a day are registered in
[Weekly timer setting] and they are not in proper time
order, those patterns are sorted automatically in time
order when you finalize the [Weekly timer setting]. (Sort-
ing function)
Humidity does not drop
In the case of dry operation.
• In some conditions of the room, the humidity does not
drop.
• In order to lower the humidity, set a lower room tempera-
ture.

• Has the circuit breaker been turned off?
• Has there been a power failure?
• Has a fuse blown out, or a circuit breaker been tripped?
• Is the timer operating?
• Is key lock enabled?
Poor cooling (or heating*) performance
• Is the air filter dusty?
• Are the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port blocked?
• Did you adjust the room temperature settings
(thermostat) correctly?
• Is there a window or door open?
• In the case of cooling operation, is a window allowing
bright sunlight to enter? (Close the curtains.)
• In the case of cooling operation, are there heating
apparatus and computers inside the room, or are there
too many people in the room?
• In the unit set for quiet operation?
• Do you have an arrangement with your electric company
for demand response?

[Management] function, following message is displayed
in the operation guidance display.

On timer or Off timer does not work
• Has there been a power outage? Any power outage
cancels the On or Off timer.
• After the power supply is resumed, set the [Enable/
Disable setting] to [Enable] again.
Weekly timer does not work
• Have all the necessary settings been completed in
[Weekly timer setting]?
Operation is automatically stopped
• Has off timer been set?
• Has weekly timer been set?
• Has auto-off timer been set?
Operation does not stopped even if auto-off timer has
been set
• Has the operation been started by pressing the [On/Off
button] on this remote controller?
• Has the operation been started by weekly timer or on timer?
• Has the weekly timer been on during the counting down
of the Auto-off timer?
• Has it been within the valid hour?
• Has there been a power outage? Any power outage can-
cels the Auto-off timer.
• Is message [R.C. prohibition (All, on/off)] and
displayed?
Set temperature is changed automatically
• Has set temp. auto return been set?
Does not return to the set temperature
• Has set temp. auto return been set?
Set temperature cannot be changed
• Has set temp. range limitation been set?
• Is message [R.C. prohibition (Set temp. all)] and
displayed?
If the problem persists after performing these checks, or
if you notice burning smells, stop operation immediately,
disconnect the power supply, and consult with authorized
service personnel.
