OPERATING THE ENGINE

To avoid personal injury:

this manual.
¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Read the danger, warning and caution
labels located on the machine.
¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ To avoid danger of exhaust fume
poisoning, do not operate the engine in
a closed
ventilation.
¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Never start engine while standing on
ground. Start
operator's seat.

STARTING THE ENGINE

1. Set the parking brake.
(1) To set the parking brake, depress the brake pedal
and the parking brake pedal simultaneously.
(2) To release the parking brake, depress the brake
pedal and release slowly.
2. Make sure that the PTO lever is in
the "DISENGAGED" position.
(1) PTO lever (A) "ENGAGED"
