Backing Plate


(18) #8 x 3/8" Pan Head Screws
Sizing (dimensions are of the backing plate, which is slightly larger then the doors)
Ironworks Face
* The bottom of the face, when installed, is 1" above the base of the fireplace.
Installation
NOTE: The backing plate replaces the tile stop on the fireplace (if installed, remove and discard the tile stop).
WARNING Turn off gas to the appliance and make sure it has fully cooled prior to conducting service.
1 The backing plate is attached after the fireplace is in place with the non-combustible facing installed.
2 Remove the glass screen (and appliance trim) from the fireplace (see the manual for details).
3 Attach the backing plate to the fireplace with the included screws. When tightening the screws, push the
backing plate against the facing to ensure a seamless fit.
