Cleaning the seat belts
! Observe the following notes on cleaning
the seat belts:
remove any stains or dirt immediately.

If the windscreen wipers are set in motion
while cleaning the windscreen, you could
become trapped by the wiper arm. There is
a risk of injury.
Always switch both the windscreen wipers
and the ignition off before cleaning the wind-
screen.

repair damage caused by loose chippings
and remove any dirt immediately, in particu-
lar:
insect remains

bird droppings

flash rust

tree resin

oils and grease

fuels

tar stains

salt residue

Wash your vehicle more frequently if it gets
dirty more often.

Cleaning and care

Scratches, corrosive deposits, corrosion and
damage caused by neglect or incorrect care
cannot always be completely rectified. In such
cases, contact a qualified specialist workshop.
Steps and ladder
Important safety notes
Do not use parts of the vehicle or openings

in the bodywork, such as battery compart-
ment covers or fuel/AdBlue
steps. Parts of the vehicle or openings in the
bodywork can otherwise be damaged.
Dirt and mud on ladders, steps and door sills
make them less safe to tread on. This could
cause you to slip from the steps and injure
yourself.
Keep ladders, steps, door sills and footwear
free from dirt, such as:
