If there is sufficient coolant, consult a
workshop.

Preheating

z illuminates yellow.
Preheating is activated. Only
activates when outside temperature
is low.
Wait until z goes off before starting
the engine.

Diesel particle filter

t illuminates yellow.
The particle filter is regenerating
itself. Leave the engine running until
t goes off so that regeneration can
be completed.

AdBlue

u illuminates yellow.
AdBlue level is low. Refill AdBlue as
soon as possible to avoid prevention
of engine starts.
A corresponding message may
appear in the Driver Information
Centre.
AdBlue 3 94.
Tyre pressure monitoring
system
q illuminates yellow.
Tyre pressure loss. Stop immediately
and check tyre pressure.
If q illuminates together with +, a
sensor is faulty.
Consult a workshop.

Engine oil pressure

T illuminates red.
Illuminates briefly when the ignition is
switched on.
Illuminates when the engine is
running
Caution
Engine lubrication may be
interrupted. This may result in
damage to the engine and / or
locking of the drive wheels.
Park the vehicle and check the engine
oil level 3 146.
9 Warning
When the engine is off,
considerably more force is needed
to brake and steer. During an
Autostop the brake servo unit will
still be operational.
Do not remove key until vehicle is
stationary, otherwise the steering
wheel lock could engage
unexpectedly.
Keep engine turned off and let the
vehicle be towed to a workshop.
