CONTROLS
The display will always default t o show t he room t emperat ure.
When t he air condit ioner is t urned on, it will aut omat ically st art in t he last mode and fan set t ings select ed.
Cool Mode
Use t he COOL mode for cooling.
To set t he COOL mode:
1. Press t he MODE pad unt il t he COOL indicat or light is lit .
2. Press t he FAN
speed.
3. Press + or - t o set t he desired t emperat ure bet ween 61°F
and 89°F in 1°F increment s.
Aft er set t ings have been made, t he display will change back
t o show t he room t emperat ure.
The t emperat ure cont rol is used t o maint ain t he room
t emperat ure. The compressor will cycle on and off t o keep
t he room at t he set level of comfort . Set t he t emperat ure
cont rol at a lower number and t he indoor air will become
cooler. Set t he t emperat ure cont rol at a higher number
DRY Mode—Dehumidificat ion
Use t he DRY mode t o provide dehumidificat ion only. The
fan will run at a fixed speed at t his set t ing, so a fan speed
cannot be set . Keep windows and doors closed for t he best
dehumidifying effect s.
To set t he DRY mode:
•Press t he MODE pad unt il t he DRY indicat or light is lit .
FAN Mode
Use t he FAN mode t o provide air circulat ion and filt ering
wit hout cooling.
To set t he FAN mode:
• Press t he FAN pad unt il t he desired indicat or light for high,
medium, or low fan speed is lit .
HEAT Mode
Use t he Heat mode at Low, Med, High or Aut o Fan Speed
for heat ing. Use t he Temperat ure Increase (+) / Decrease (- )
pads t o set t he desired t emperat ure bet ween 61°F and 86°F
in 1°F increment s.
Power Out age Recovery Feat ure
In t he case of a power out age or int errupt ion, t he unit will
aut omat ically re- st art in t he set t ings last used aft er t he
power is rest ored.
