1040 Coin-cell battery

DANGER
Use only the authorized battery specified for the computer. Any other battery could ignite or
explode.
For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 37
Removal steps of the coin-cell battery
Note: A Mylar film might cover the coin-cell battery. To access the coin-cell battery, peel off the film first.
When installing:
• Ensure that the connector is attached firmly.
• Reset the system date and time in the BIOS menu.

1050 Memory module

For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 37
Removal steps of the memory module
Note: A Mylar film might cover the memory module. To access the memory module, peel off the film first.
