Set many basic phone options:
Change the text
displayed when
you turn on your
phone.
Change your phone's
screen saver image, see
page 158.
Change the text that
appears in the idle display.
Note: Banner text does not
appear in your phone's
external display.

Set the phone's time and
date.
Set the speakerphone to
timeout after 20 seconds, or
to always on.
Some networks
require an
authenticating PIN
code to allow
outgoing calls. Use this
feature to automatically dial
your PIN.
