This condition reduces the ability of the hand to feel and regulate temperature, causing numbness and heat sensations and may cause nerve damage and circulatory tissue death.

    Safety Information Intended Use The HY2188 is a 20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer. It is powered by a 550W HYUNDAI motor. This machine is specifically a pedestrian tool, manufactured according to the latest safety requirements. Every precaution is only effective when it’s followed exactly.

    Assembly HY2188 Assembly Ensure battery is fully charged before assembly, see page 17 Slide the Battery (J) into place with the Battery Release Button (I) facing away from the Main Body (A).     Remove the Blade guard from the machine. HY2188 Handle Rotation The HY2188 comes with an ambidextrous (two-handed) handle. The Handle has a rotation button on both sides. Press the rotation button and twist the handle. Whilst twisting, release the button and it will lock into an angle position for easier use at different cutting angles.

    Operation HY2188 Stopping and Starting The HY2188 starts by pressing both the On/Off Trigger (B) and the Front Safety Switch (D) at the same time. This in built safety mechanism stops the machine from starting accidentally. Upon pressing both the On/Off Trigger (D) and Front Safety Switch (B), allow the machine to get to full speed before undertaking any trimming, this could take a second or two.

    Operation Cutting A Hedge When operating the hedge trimmer, keep the extension cord behind the trimmer. Never drape it over the hedge being trimmed. 1. Cut and remove branches exceeding the cutting capacity of this product using a proper pruner before operation. 2.
