A soft reset re-initializes the module software and clears the error registers shown on the HDSL4 Performance
Monitoring Reports.
Performing a reset is a non-service affecting software routine. However, if the Reset command
is assigned to security Level 5 through the System Administration Menu Security screen and
the user is assigned to a Level 4 or below, the user cannot execute this command. (For more
information on editing menu security, refer to the shelf controller unit documentation listed
under Related Publications at the beginning of this manual.)
Performing a reset logs the user off.
To reset the H4LXC:
