TRIGGERING AND CANCELING AN SOS – EXPLORE APP
You can trigger an SOS on your GPSMAP 66i or
paired Garmin Explore app.
Triggering an SOS from the Explore app:
1. Select SOS from the menu
2. Slide the SOS button to the right
3. Wait for the SOS countdown
4. Default message sent to the IERCC
5. A confirmation message is sent to your device
6. Message with the Garmin IERCC if possible
7. Select Cancel SOS if help is no longer needed
Note: The Garmin Explore app must be paired to a compatible inReach
device active on an inReach subscription plan.
