    Pressing On/Off terminates the loudspeaking call. Incoming calls The green LED on KonfTel 100 R lights up to indi- cate an incoming call. Press On/Off to answer in loudspeaking mode. You can also answer a call with your standard tele- phone, and then switch to loudspeaking mode by pressing On/Off.

    Remote control area of coverage When using the remote control (optional), account should be taken of the area of coverage of the IR receiver. The remote control has a range of up to 5 metres, provided the area is free of obstructions. Note that the range can be affected by strong sunlight, strong fluorescent lighting or an obstructed view.
  • Page 7 (KonfTel can offer other systems for larger premises). The unit’s omni-directional microphone has a fantastic ability to pick up sound. This allows you to position KonfTel 100 R more or less wherever you like in the room. Try it out to see and hear for yourself.

    LINE PWR TAPE Automatic adjustment When you switch on the KonfTel 100 R, it automati- cally adjusts to your room and your telephone line. KonfTel 100 R senses the acoustics in your room and adjusts itself continuously for the duration of the call.

  • Page 9: Key Set Control Unit

    Switches KonfTel 100 R on and off. Switches the microphone on/off. Pressing repeatedly will increase or reduce the loudspeaker volume. After the call, KonfTel 100 R remembers the set volume until it is changed once more. These keys can also be used to make the ringing signal louder or lower by pressing when KonfTel 100 R is switched off.

    Programming of speed dial numbers. PAUSE Enters a pause when programming speed dial numbers. = REDIAL Repeats the last number dialled. On/Off Switches KonfTel 100 R on and off. + and – Volume control. MIC On/Off Switches the microphone on and off. Mute function.

    Retrieve speed dial number Switch on KonfTel 100 R and wait for the dialling tone. Retrieve a speed dial number with PRG followed by its position. Press R to retrieve several numbers.

    1 Check that the microphone is connected. The red LEDs must be lit. 2 Adjust KonfTel 100 R manually. 3 Check that KonfTel 100 R is connected to an analogue telephone jack. 4 Check that all cables are correctly connected.
