Cause
Transfer the songs to the iPod.
Select a list that contains the songs.
Disconnect the cable from the iPod. Once the
iPod main menu is displayed, connect the cable
again.
Reset the iPod.
Update the iPod version.

iPod main menu is displayed, connect the cable

Turn the ignition switch OFF and ON.

Turn the ignition switch OFF and ON.
Disconnect the USB device, and connect it
again.
Change to a different source. Then, return to
the USB.
Format the USB device with FAT16 or FAT32.
