Inspection, Maintenance, and Cleaning

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK:
Unplug the Camera from the NVR before inspection, maintenance, or cleaning.
1. PERIODICALLY, inspect the general
condition of the Camera. Check for:
• loose hardware,
• damaged cord/electrical wiring,
• cracked or broken parts, and
• any other condition that may
affect its safe operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Possible Causes
1. No power from NVR.
2. RJ45 cable not
properly connected.
Camera lens is dirty.
Camera out of adjustment. Loosen adjustment screws and
Camera not mounted
correctly.

2. PERIODICALLY, wipe external
surfaces of Camera with clean cloth.
3. Maintain area surrounding
Camera, making sure obstacles
don't interfere with visibility,
such as overgrown bushes.
Probable Solutions
1. Check the NVR is powered on.
2. Check that the RJ45 cable
is securely connected.
Clean Camera lens.
adjust Camera as needed.
Loosen adjustment screws and
adjust Camera as needed.
