Unwind the AC cord and extend it to its full length. Insert the small end of the AC cord into the AC socket on the side of the unit. Insert the other end of the AC cord into any convenient 120V AC, 60Hz household outlet. NOTE: The AC plug supplied with the unit is polarized to help minimize the possibility of electric shock.

RADIO OPERATION Slide the Function switch to the RADIO position to turn the unit on and select the RADIO mode. Rotate the TUNING control to select a station. Slide the Function switch to the POWER OFF position to turn the unit off. HEADPHONES For private listening, insert headphones into the PHONES jack.
PLAYING COMPACT DISCS NORMAL PLAYBACK Slide the Function switch to the CD position to turn the unit on and select the CD mode.
