CLEANING THE HEADS AND TAPE PATH
Clean after every 1 O hours of operation, and before recording
for optimum record/playback quality.

to open the cassette holder.
2Slightly moisten the tip of a cotton swab with cleaning
fluid or alcohol, and wipe heads, pinch rollers and
capstans.
Do not insert a cassette until the cleaned areas are
completely dry.
DEMAGNETIZING THE HEADS
After 20 to 30 hours of use, or when you notice hiss and/or
loss of high frequencies, it is necessary to remove residual
magnetism built up on the heads.
1 Turn off POWER.
2 Demagnetize heads with any commercially available
demagnetizer. Consult the user's manual of the
demagnetizer for detailed instructions.
CLEANING THE CABINET
To clean the cabinet, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with
mild detergent solution.

Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring.powder or
solvent such as alcohol or benzine.
