DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M Firmware Update Guide

Thank you for choosing a Yamaha product.

This document explains how to update the firmware of the DTXTREME III/

DTX900/DTX900M. First, check the current version of the firmware, and then execute

the update process

Precautions (please be sure to read these)

・ The user assumes full responsibility for the update.

・ Please note that the DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M may be damaged if you fail

to follow these instructions properly, or turn off the product or disconnect the cable

while the update is in progress.

・ Please save your important data onto the USB storage device before updating the

firmware of the DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M.

・ If the update fails, and the DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M still does not operate

correctly even after you execute the update once again, please contact your Yamaha

dealer.

Page 3 How to check the version of your DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M Hold down the [F1] and [REC] button on the front panel simultaneously, and then turn the power on ( ) by pressing the Standby/On switch on the rear panel of the product.
Page 4 DTX900/DTX900M： Completed. Reboot DTX900. 6. Check the version of the firmware by following the instructions in “How to check the version of your DTXTREME III/DTX900/DTX900M” in this document, and confirm that your product has been successfully updated. This concludes the update process.
