Analysis
The U8185 supports the R_UIM card and connects the R_UIM card through the UIM card
slot. The PM8029 provides the card slot with VREG_L16_RUIM power of 2.85 V . The
R_UIM card's reset, clock, and data signals can be sent to and received from the PM8029
directly.
Troubleshooting Process
Failure: The phone cannot detect UIM cards.
Solution: Check whether the UIM card slot functions properly.
