1. Prepare the connections on the heating water side.
Thoroughly flush the heating system.
Note
Should an additional expansion vessel be required
on site, connect this vessel in the heating return.
2. Prepare the connections on the DHW side. Install
the safety assembly (accessories or on-site provi-
sion) in the cold water line to DIN 1988 and
EN 806 (see page 10).
Recommendation:
install the safety valve above the DHW cylinder to
protect it against contamination, scaling and high
temperatures.
: according to W3 "Principles for creating pota-
c
ble water installations", safety valves must be
drained directly via a visible unrestricted drain or
via a short outlet line to the drain network.
3. Prepare the condensate connection to the on-site
drain line or trap:
Drain towards the back:
see dimensions for condensate hose
position
Drain towards the side aperture:
see position
Note
Do not connect the DHW cylinder safety valve to
hose
(used for ventilation).
Route the condensate hose with a U-bend. Con-
nect it with a fall to the on-site drain line or a trap.
4. Prepare the gas connection according to TRGI or
TRF [or local regulations].
5. Prepare electrical connections.
The appliance is delivered fitted with an approx.
1.5 m long power cable. Route the cable out-
wards through the cable holder in area
MCB/fuse rating 16 A, 230 V~, 50 Hz (duct rout-
ing, see page 17).
Accessory cables: 0.75 mm² flexible cable with
required number of cores for external connec-
tions
