MICROPHONE PLACEMENT

PRO-COMMS ELECTRONIC HEARING PROTECTION
For clearest communications, place microphone directly in front of mouth 1/8 inch away as shown in picture.
To adjust length of boom mic, loosen the locking ring on the microphone shaft and extend or shorten as
needed. Tighten locking ring when desired length is obtained.

USING THE ZELLO APP
The 3M Pro-Comms Hearing Protector can be configured to talk in real-time to individuals and groups anywhere
in the world using the Zello Push-to-Talk (PTT) mobile phone app. Once downloaded to your mobile phone and
paired to the 3M Pro-Comms Hearing Protector, the Zello Push-to-Talk service transforms your regular phone
and Pro-Comms hearing protector into a PTT walkie-talkie-like device, complete with its own "Push-to-Talk"
button. This two-way communication feature allows for quick and easy conversations between team members
and groups in high noise environments which helps increase productivity.
