Interrupting the alarm clock (snooze function)
Start the snooze function by pressing any button of the device.
The snooze function can only be started during the alarm tone.
Behaviour of the alarm call function and the snooze function
The behaviour of the alarm call and snooze function depends on the switching state of the
device. Four possible switching states are listed in the following.
Case A
Behaviour and functions:
When the alarm time is reached, the radio is interrupted and the alarm tone is output (alarm mode).
– The volume of the alarm tone changes according to the ramp function.
– The volume increases from 20% to 100% of the maximum volume.
– The alarm tone lasts for 20 seconds at 20%. Then it increases every second for approximately
25 seconds until the maximum volume is reached.
Display output in alarm mode:
– "Alarm"
The alarm mode ends automatically after 1 minute.
The alarm tone can be stopped with any button (snooze function).
– This switches the device back into the play mode and the radio plays again.
– After 5 minutes the device switches automatically back into the alarm mode.
– This process is repeated 3 times.
– There are three ways to stop the repeats early (to deactivate the alarm function):
– Press the "OFF" button long (approx. 2 seconds) during the alarm tone.
– Press the "OFF" button during the time between the two alarm tones. This also switches the
radio off, since it is in playing mode between the alarm tones.
– Deactivate the alarm clock in the configuration menu of the device, see chapter 8.3.4 "Menu
"Alarm clock" - "Alarm clock"" on page 44. The alarm call function is then fully deactivated. If
the alarm clock is to operate again the next day, it must be switched on again.
